Shell Survivor puts a heavily armed hero in a small arena and sends wave after wave of monsters and aliens straight at them. The first waves are easy, but the enemies quickly grow in number and strength. Survive as long as you can by moving smartly and building a stronger character after every fight. For fans of non-stop action, this top-down arena shooter is one of the most addictive games for boys to try.

How to Play Shell Survivor

Choose a hero from a large roster, each with different stats and traits. Once the wave begins, enemies close in from every side. In Shell Survivor, your weapons aim and fire automatically, so your job is to keep moving, dodge attacks and avoid getting surrounded. Each wave lasts roughly 20 to 90 seconds, and staying alive until the timer runs out sends you to the next round.

Controls

• W, A, S, D or Arrow keys: move your hero
• Mouse: choose upgrades and buy items between waves

Shooting is fully automatic, so you never need to aim.

Upgrades and the Shop

Defeated enemies drop materials and items. Every time you level up, you pick one of four upgrade options, and between waves you can spend your loot in the shop on new weapons, tools and items. These choices raise stats such as max HP, damage, armor, attack speed and range, turning your hero into a stronger fighter with each round.

Six Weapons at Once

• Equip up to six weapons at the same time
• Mix ranged guns with melee weapons to cover every distance
• Hundreds of weapons and items to discover

If a wave proves too tough, try a different weapon combination or another hero. Finding a build that matches your playstyle is the secret to reaching the final, hardest wave.
